Buffalo Cauli Wings! #BarFood – ok, maybe we don’t find these at a bar, but maybe we should! Just saying… These babies are baked, they are delicious and kinda healthy! Serve with ranch, blue cheese or your fave dipping sauce 😎
Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
INGREDIENTS:
1 head of cauliflower
½ cup water
½ cup milk (I use almond but use what you have at hand)
¾ cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
¼ tsp ground pepper
¼ tsp salt
1 cup red hot sauce such as Franks Hot Sauce
1 tbsp butter
PREPARATION:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease very well with oil. Wash and cut cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.
2️⃣ Mix flour, spices, water and milk in a medium mixing bowl. Coat the cauliflower in the batter and shake off excess batter before placing cauliflower on the baking sheet. Lay the cauliflower single layer and leave a little room in between each piece.
3️⃣ Bake for 20 mins until you get some color, flipping the florets over halfway.
4️⃣ In the meantime, work on the buffalo sauce – In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat and mix in the hot sauce. Stir and set aside.
5️⃣ Remove cauliflower from the oven and put into a medium mixing bowl with the buffalo sauce and toss to coat evenly. Return cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake in the oven for another 10-15 minutes or until you reach desired crispness. Serve with your fave dipping sauce and ENJOY!
