🍹 This deliciousness is spicy, sweet, salty and tangy. An explosion in your mouth 💥 The recipe is for a pitcher and it can be refrigerated for a few days. Salud!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup tequila blanco
1 cup triple sec
1 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice (fresh is key!)
2 ½ cups pineapple juice
3-4 habanero chiles
Optional garnishes: Salt, limes, habaneros, pineapple
PREPARATION:
1️⃣ Slice habaneros in half and remove seeds (I highly recommend using gloves when handling these hot bad boys). Place the chiles on a skillet over medium heat and blister on both sides #lifehack 👉 open a window!
2️⃣ In a pitcher, pour the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and pineapple juice. Stir well.
3️⃣ Add the blistered habaneros in the mix. Let them sit in the mix anywhere from 15 mins to an hour, depending on how much heat you can handle. If you are not familiar with this type of chile 🌶️ habaneros are spicy, folks! Taste mixture after 15 mins to determine how long you want to soak them. Remove chiles once the spice level is to your liking.
4️⃣ Rim your glass with lime and dip in salt. Pour margarita into prepared glass over ice. Garnish with habanero, pineapple slices and/or lime wedges. I skewered all three for my garnish cuz your girl was feeling a little extra 😜 SALUD!
