No Cream Creamy Pasta

Want creamy pasta but don’t want the damn calories❓ I got ya, fam! I saw this recipe on #tiktok and I had to try it… Bruh! I’ve made it twice already! It’s delicious and so easy to make. I made low-cal Gnocchi (as you can see on the pic & vids), and I also made low-cal zucchini noods and they were fantastic! I’ll be trying this recipe soon with fettuccine to whip up a little low-cal fettuccine Alfredo action 🔥 ⁠

Low-cal Vegan (if you skip the cheese) Creamy Pasta. Serves ✌️ ⁠

INGREDIENTS:⁠

2 heads of garlic⁠

½ lemon, juice⁠

Salt & Pepper⁠

1-3 tbsp Olive oil⁠

Your choice of pasta, cooked⁠

Bread crumbs (optional)⁠

Fresh herbs, thyme works well (optional)⁠

Parmesan cheese (optional but cheese is life, just sayin’)⁠

PREPARATION: ⁠

1️⃣ Cut the top of each head of garlic, wrap individually with foil paper, place in the oven at 400F for 40 minutes. Unwrap and let cool down for a few minutes. ⁠

2️⃣ While your garlic is in the oven, cook your pasta and season your breadcrumbs by cooking them on a little bit of olive oil, adding chopped herbs, salt and pepper. ⁠

3️⃣ Squeeze garlic into a large bowl, add lemon juice, about 2 tbsp of olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix well. Dats it! You got your gorgeous creamy sauce! Mix in pasta and season to taste. Serve on a plate, sprinkle breadcrumbs and parmesan on top. ⁠

ENJOY and have fun with it! You can add anything to the sauce, sautéed veggies and meats go very well with this recipe.
